Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression Manage guest seating arrangements efficiently, ensuring optimal table utilization and waitlist management Communicate clearly with guests regarding wait times, menu options, and special requests Assist servers by bussing tables promptly, clearing dishes, and resetting tables for new guests Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including wiping down tables and chairs regularly Support the host/host team with reservations and guest inquiries via phone or in person using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Monitor dining room for guest needs, responding promptly to requests for assistance or additional service Uphold restaurant policies on safety, hygiene, and customer service standards at all times Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods Follow proper phone etiquette when handling reservations or guest inquiries over the phone Skills Previous host/host experience or food service background preferred but not required; a passion for hospitality is essential Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members Experience with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of restaurant operations and guest relations best practices Professional phone etiquette for reservation handling and guest inquiries Hospitality experience in hotels or similar settings is advantageous but not mandatory Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Join us as a Host/Busser and become part of a passionate team dedicated to creating memorable dining experiences!
