4-10pm Duties Greet guests with a friendly smile and genuine enthusiasm as they arrive, making them feel immediately welcome Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently Maintain an organized waitlist and communicate wait times clearly to guests Assist guests with seating preferences, special requests, and provide menus promptly Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and reservations and to-go orders Bussing tables, clearing plates, assisting servers, expo food to tables, etc Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of service and guest satisfaction Uphold guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience for all visitors Skills Proven experience as a host/hostess or in food service roles within restaurants or hospitality settings Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred Previous hotel or guest services experience is a plus, demonstrating adaptability in hospitality environments Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy setting while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving protocols, and guest relations best practices This role is perfect for motivated individuals passionate about hospitality and working hard in a fast paced busy restaurant.
