This role is a key part of our front of house operations, ensuring excellent customer service, efficiency, and adherence to company standards.

Start Date:

Key Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and create a professional, welcoming first impression. Manage reservations, waitlists, and accurately estimate wait times Guide guests to their tables and provide menus and basic information Communicate clearly with all staff regarding new parties and seating flow Answer phone calls professionally and assist with reservations, large party inquiries, and general guest questions. Monitor the host stand, entrance area, and dining room flow to support smooth front-of-house operations. Handle guest concerns with urgency, empathy, and professionalism, and escalate issues to management when needed. Optimize seating assignments to evenly distribute workload among servers Follow daily checklists, SOPs, and company policies Maintain a clean, organized, and professional host area at all times. Assist the front-of-house team as needed during busy service periods. Remain punctual, organized, positive, and able to perform under pressure in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of customer service experience in hospitality; Hotpot, BBQ, Japanese cuisine, or high-volume restaurant experience preferred. Strong oral and written communication skills, including phone etiquette and conflict resolution Ability to remain calm, professional, and organized during busy service periods. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage guest flow in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail, punctuality, and reliability. Passion for providing excellent service and creating memorable dining experiences. Flexible availability, including late-night shifts, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the dining area for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to read, understand, and follow company policies, schedules, SOPs, and safety procedures. Fluent in English. Bilingual skills are a plus. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
