A full bar, curated wine list, and standout pastry program complete the experience.Key Responsibilities:
Warmly welcome and greet guests upon arrival, setting the tone for their dining experience. Manage reservations and walk-in guests using the restaurant's reservation system. Accurately quote wait times and manage the waitlist during peak hours. Escort guests to tables, ensuring proper seating arrangements and accommodating special requests when possible. Maintain a polished and professional personal presentation at all times. Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, and managers to ensure smooth seating flow and timely service. Handle guest chits and tickets, delivering them promptly to the appropriate staff for preparation and service. Monitor dining room and bar areas to anticipate guest needs and optimize table turnover. Provide menus and knowledgeably answer basic questions about the restaurant, menu, and specials. Update guest profiles in the reservation system with accurate tags, notes, and relevant information to enhance personalized service. Handle guest concerns with professionalism and promptly notify a manager when necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, entryway, and surrounding areas. Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation policies.Qualifications:
Minimum 1-2 years of hosting experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a warm, welcoming demeanor. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Professional appearance and polished personal presentation. Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure. Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Valid California Food Handler's Certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire)Compensation & Benefits:
