The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and exceptional service from the moment they arrive. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage guest relations effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Greet guests promptly and courteously as they enter the establishment. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow. Provide information about menu items and specials to enhance the dining experience. Utilize POS systems, including OpenTable and Toast Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area. Assist guests with inquiries, ensuring their needs are met throughout their visit. Handle phone calls with professionalism, providing information on wait times and reservations. Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction. Requirements Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and guest services. Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude with a genuine desire to help others and enhance their dining experience. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus; training will be provided for candidates without prior experience.
