Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and customer service, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. As a Host/Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, playing a crucial role in creating an exceptional dining experience. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover. Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure smooth service flow. Assist guests with inquiries regarding menu items, specials, and restaurant policies. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area. Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy, ensuring guest satisfaction. Utilize Aloha POS system for managing reservations and tracking guest preferences. Collaborate with team members to enhance overall guest experience through excellent service. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant, or food service environment is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members. Knowledge of hospitality best practices and guest relations is a plus. Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail. A friendly demeanor with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
