Duties Greet guests warmly as they arrive, providing friendly and efficient check-in assistance. Assist servers by clearing tables promptly and resetting them for new guests to ensure smooth service. Support the kitchen and front-of-house staff by delivering food and beverages accurately and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including wiping down tables, chairs, and service stations. Manage guest inquiries with professionalism using phone etiquette and excellent communication skills. Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders or assist with guest billing when needed. Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of guest services and hospitality throughout each shift. Qualifications Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential! Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Experience working with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving techniques, and guest relations enhances your fit for this role. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Hotel or hospitality experience is advantageous but not mandatory; a passion for creating welcoming guest experiences is key! Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to handle guest inquiries professionally.
