About the role | Ko te mahi nei Christchurch Art Gallery Te Puna o Waiwhetū is home to our city's treasury of art - a pātaka of unique images, memories and ideas. We have an exciting opportunity available to work within the Gallery's Visitor Services team to provide visitors with exceptional service, quality information and tailored opportunities for engagement with Gallery programming and events. Encourage customers of all ages to connect with Christchurch Art Gallery exhibitions, and promote our programmes, events, shop and facilities to visitors and stakeholders. Additionally, you will be responsible for: Warmly resolving all enquiries from walk in, electronic and phone in customers, as far as possible at first point of contact. Using your knowledge of the exhibitions and collection to provide informative and engaging visitors experiences. Supporting sales in the Design Store. Responding to and recording emergency incidents, accidents, customer problems, procedures for art works and complaints. Being part of an exciting schedule of exhibitions as well as a busy calendar of evening functions and events to host, if you're passionate about customer service and the visual arts this could be the perfect role for you!
