The RoleService is getting the details right. Our morning host sets the stage for the day making sure the clubhouse is clean, stocked, and ready for members. Methodical, detail-oriented, cleanliness is a must. Hospitality is making everyone feel welcome. A friendly smile, a genuine conversation, identifying a guests need before they can ask is all what makes our business feel like home. This is a dual-focus role. During morning Club Host shifts, you're the first on hand at the club: opening it up, resetting it, and making sure it feels ready to welcome our daytime coworkers. As Events Assistant, you're a part of the private events team, managing all the details to ensure our host and their guests have a memorable experience.

Club Host:

3 mornings a weeek (fixed schedule)The Reset Arrive before 9am and get the clubhouse ready to welcome members: wipe tables, clear glassware, take out trash, and make the space feel cared for, not just clean.

Facility Care Check the club's amenities so everything works the way a member expects it to, every time.

Member Support Be the friendly face members look forward to seeing. Ask questions, actually listen to the answers, and stay curious about what a member might need, even when they haven't said so directly.

Events Supports:

As NeededAnticipation Birch Road events range from live music to wine tastings to weddings. Anticipate what a host or guest needs before they ask, and respond like it's the easiest thing in the world.

Setup & Breakdown Help with event-specific layouts, vendor load-ins (tastemakers, educators, and the like), and post-event cleanup.

Hospitality Be the face of the club during events. Members and their guests should leave feeling genuinely taken care of, not just accommodated.

Who You AreA Local Neighbor You live within about 10 minutes of the club and have reliable transportation. Shifts can run under 3 hours, so a long commute won't work here.

Hospitality-Minded You have 1-2 years in events, catering, or service, and you already know that the little things are the whole thing.

A Self-Starter You're comfortable working independently in the mornings and don't need someone standing over your shoulder to know what to do next.

A Communicator You're easy to talk to, whether that's a member at 9am or a manager coordinating an event.

A Side Hustler This is a part-time role, well suited to someone in hospitality, restaurants, wellness, or a similar service field who wants meaningful side work.

We'd rather hire for warmth and hustle than a long resume. If you know how to read a room and genuinely like taking care of people, we can teach you the rest.

Physical DemandsAble to be on your feet for 4-5 hours at a time.

Comfortable handling delicate glassware and silverware, including detailed, repetitive polishing.

Able to lift or move supplies, equipment, and materials up to 40 lbs.

Able to use stairs or a ladder to reach stored equipment or replace supplies (light bulbs, air filters, etc.).Able to communicate by phone, email, and in person with members, colleagues, and vendors.
