Full Job Description Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented host to join our team. As host and support , you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable. Our FOH and BOH tip pool reflects our belief that every team member contributes to the guest experience, creating a supportive and positive work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests and escort them to their tables
• Present menus and provide detailed information on food and beverage options
• Take accurate food and drink orders from guests
• Enter orders into the POS system (Toast POS) accurately
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
• Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on them throughout their meal
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance the dining experience
• Clear tables and maintain cleanliness in the dining area
• Process payments using cash register or POS system
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
• Adhere to all food handling and sanitation guidelines

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Support/Host, or in the hospitality industry preferred
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interaction
• Knowledge of culinary terms, menu items, and food preparation methods
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
• Familiarity with Toast POS systems is a plus
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail for order accuracy and guest satisfaction
