Duties Greet guests promptly with a warm, genuine smile and positive attitude Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently. Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions about the menu or restaurant policies Maintain a clean and organized host station, ensuring all guest areas are welcoming and presentable Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to coordinate seating and guest needs Handle guest inquiries over the phone with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette Assist in managing guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously to ensure a positive experience Skills Previous experience as a Host or Hostess in food service or restaurant settings preferred Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Familiarity with POS systems.
