Job Responsibilities Banquet Host/Hostess will play a visible role in exceeding our guest's expectation though design, delivery and guest service Preparing banquet room for the event Set up, maintain and replenish multiple buffet lines Serving guests, and post event clean up Communicate with guests using clear and enthusiastic words, tone and body language at all times. Make guests feel appreciated Anticipate guest's needs. Be alert of guest signals and acknowledge the guest Remove dishes and glasses from tables and take to kitchen for cleaning Perform all applicable opening, mid-day or closing preparation, cleaning and maintenance duties according to the requirements of the shift worked Help guest with any and all birthday party needs.
Duties include:
making the birthday child feel special, taking orders and up-selling, serving food and drinks, singing happy birthday, serving birthday cake, busing, issuing fun cards and wristbands, gift list, closing party tab, help guest with gifts and leftover food to car. Minimum Job Requirements Must be 16 years old Able to work a minimum of 15 hours per week Well-groomed and neat appearance Good organizational skills Likes being around families and large groups, has a "servant" attitude to help them enjoy their Boondocks experience Enjoys working in a team atmosphere Possess patience and persistence when handling children Enjoys working through problems with systems and come up with solutions The ability to be on your feet for long periods of time and work in a fast pace environment Availability during the weekends due to the majority of our parties and events occur during Saturdays and Sundays Ensure a memorable experience through monitoring that party is going according to schedule; anticipate guest's needs and offering assistance to the host. Run it like you own it, maintain a clean work area
