Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and personable Host to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensure smooth operations at the front of the house. As the first point of contact, you will manage reservations, greet guests, and coordinate seating arrangements to enhance the overall dining experience. Your friendly demeanor and organizational skills will set the tone for a memorable visit, fostering guest satisfaction and loyalty. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a positive first impression Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest flow Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills Maintain accurate waitlists and communicate wait times clearly to guests Assist with guest services by addressing special requests and ensuring comfort throughout their visit Support food safety standards by maintaining cleanliness in the host station and adhering to hygiene protocols Qualifications Previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant or food service environment preferred Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Familiarity with restaurant reservation management and POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Excellent organizational skills to manage reservations, seating, and guest flow effectively Good communication skills, including phone etiquette and clear verbal interaction Basic math skills for handling reservations, waitlist management, and billing support when needed Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices is a plus Join our team and be part of an energetic environment where your hospitality talents shine!
