Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Host for every Friday and Saturday who can grow into potential back server and serving shifts as a swing team member over time. Extra hours and availability for someone experienced, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive until they leave. Your ability to communicate effectively and provide outstanding guest services will be crucial in creating a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall dining experience. Duties Greet and welcome guests as they enter the establishment, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow. Take food and beverage orders accurately using Lightspeed POS or similar systems. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation. Assist guests with menu selections and answer any questions regarding food service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special requests from guests. Uphold company policies regarding health, safety, and sanitation standards. Qualifications Previous experience in hospitality or customer service roles is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette when taking reservations or answering inquiries. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for providing excellent guest services and ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
