Part-time / Seasonal (April-November) About Dock 34: Dock 34 is a waterfront bar & grill known for its laid-back atmosphere, great food, and even better company. We're all about creating a fun, welcoming experience for every guest—from the moment they walk in to the moment they leave.

Position Overview:

As a Host/Hostess at Dock 34, you are the first impression of our restaurant. You'll set the tone for the guest experience by greeting everyone with a warm, friendly attitude and keeping things running smoothly at the front of house.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet guests promptly with a welcoming and upbeat attitude Manage waitlists and seating arrangements efficiently Escort guests to tables and provide menus Communicate clearly with servers and management to maintain smooth service flow Answer phones and assist with basic guest inquiries Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area Thank guests as they leave and invite them back

Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills Ability to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced environment Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail Team player with a positive attitude Must have weekend availability (required) Weeknight availability strongly preferred
