The ideal candidate will have a passion for guest experiences and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. As a Karaoke Host, you will be responsible for delivering a luxury nightlife experience to our Guests, setting the vibe for the night.

Duties Host open karaoke:

Be our on-stage host for open karaoke on Friday and/or Saturday nights, organizing the queue of songs so that all guests have a fair opportunity to sing Guest entertainment: Engage with singers on stage by singing backup vocals if comfortable, using our stage lighting, mixing sound on our production board, and encouraging the audience

Exceptional Hospitality:

Greet new guests and walk them through how open karaoke works; be able to learn names and faces of regulars to greet them by name. Make guests feel celebrated the minute they walk into the lounge Audience safety: Maintain a safe and welcoming environment by ensuring no guests are vaping and alerting the bar team to rowdiness or behavior that does not align with SoLA's guest expectations Equipment monitor: Maintain cleanliness and organization of MC desk and ensure guests are using microphones appropriately; monitor sound output of mics; report or troubleshoot technical issues as needed Experience Proven experience in hospitality or service as Server/Cocktail Waitress/Host is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse clientele. Comfortability with high-energy, loud environments and quick thinking. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
