Job Summary:

Wood-n-Tap Southington is seeking friendly and outgoing individuals to join our team as a Host/Hostess. The Host/Hostess will be responsible for providing exceptional hospitality and guest relations to ensure a positive dining experience for our guests. This is a guest-facing role that requires excellent communication and a great smile!!

Responsibilities:

Open doors for guests as they enter and exit the building Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome upon arrival Escort guests to their designated tables and provide menus Assist guests with any special requests or accommodations Manage the waitlist and seating arrangements efficiently Answer phone calls and assist with reservations or inquiries Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station Collaborate with the waitstaff to ensure smooth flow of service Handle guest complaints or concerns in a professional manner Operate the Aloha POS system for seating assignments and tracking reservations

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A great smile Strong guest service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanor Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Proficient in phone etiquette and handling guest inquiries Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus Knowledge of hotel or restaurant operations is beneficial At our establishment, we value our team members and offer various benefits, including competitive pay, opportunities for career growth, and a positive work environment.
