Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in setting the tone for their visit. Duties Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover. Provide accurate wait times and communicate with guests regarding their seating status. Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area. Answer phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations and providing information about the restaurant. Collaborate with servers to ensure smooth service flow. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with grace, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for managing reservations and orders. Qualifications Previous experience as a Host/Host or in food service is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with effective phone etiquette. Familiarity with restaurant operations, including serving practices and guest services. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in hotel settings is a plus but not required. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
