Job Summary We're on the lookout for a friendly and organized Host to be the first point of contact for our guests. In this role, you'll help create a warm, inviting atmosphere by managing reservations, greeting guests, and coordinating seating arrangements. The ideal candidate is personable, attentive to detail, and passionate about delivering excellent guest experiences in a fast-paced environment. Duties Greet guests warmly as they arrive and assist with check-in procedures. Manage restaurant reservations using our table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Coordinate seating arrangements efficiently to minimize wait times and optimize table turnover. Answer phone inquiries politely, providing accurate information about wait times or reservation details. Maintain an organized waiting list and communicate clearly with guests about their status. Support the front-of-house team by ensuring smooth guest flow and timely seating. Uphold food safety standards and ensure cleanliness in the host station area. Experience Previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant setting is preferred. Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong customer service skills with excellent communication and phone etiquette. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor. Basic math skills for managing reservations and guest counts accurately. Experience with food service or hospitality environments enhances your ability to connect with guests.
