Restaurant Host/Hostess Position Type:

Part-time (3 dinner shifts per week) Job Summary Be the friendly face that welcomes customers to Marly's Bar & Bistro. We are seeking a friendly and organized host/hostess to join our team. This role combines traditional hosting duties with take-out order management to ensure smooth restaurant operations during dinner service. Key Responsibilities Warmly greet guests upon arrival and provide estimated wait times Manage reservation system and seating arrangements Escort guests to tables and present menus Process and coordinate take-out orders from phone Maintain clean and organized host station and entrance area Assist with answering phones and general customer inquiries Support servers and management as needed during busy periods Requirements Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Professional appearance and positive attitude Flexibility to work dinner shifts including weekends Basic computer skills for reservation and ordering systems Schedule 3 dinner shifts per week (typically 4:30 PM - 9:30 PM)
