Job Description
Job Summary Join our vibrant hospitality team as a Breakfast Host/Floater, where your energy and enthusiasm will set the tone for a memorable breakfast experience! In this dual dynamic role, you will be the welcoming face of our breakfast service, ensuring guests feel valued from the moment they arrive. As a floater, you will take care of various areas of the hotel, including laundry and houseperson, to maintain smooth operations and uphold our high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and exceptional customer service. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help create a warm, inviting atmosphere that keeps guests coming back for more. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Duties Greet guests warmly as they arrive Prepare breakfast buffet items with precision, following food safety procedures, brand and quality standards Food preparation tasks, including assembling ingredients, portioning, and basic cooking with a rational oven Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, kitchen stations, and service equipment through regular cleaning and sanitizing Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, toasters, pancake machine, bean to cup coffee machines Take inventory and place food orders Weekly deep clean of kitchen and dining areas Provide in-person customer service by addressing guest inquiries promptly and professionally Assist with hotel laundry and houseperson duties when breakfast is completed Experience Food industry experience including food preparation is advantageous Familiarity with food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling regulations is essential Experience operating kitchen equipment Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills in person is required Prior hotel laundry and houseperson expeirence is preferred but not required Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Join us as a Breakfast Host/Floater and be part of a passionate team dedicated to creating delightful mornings and a clean property for our guests!
