Position Type:
Non-exempt, Part-Time (approx. 5 to 25 hours per week)
Shifts:
4 to 8-hour daily shifts across mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Must be available to work at least one weekend day per week (both days preferred). Each CAMP store features rotating themed experiences where families come to play, explore, and create unforgettable memories together. We believe that play connects us all, and at CAMP, play is bigger, bubblier, funnier, fuzzier, slimier, and sillier than anywhere else. What you will do at CAMP? The Stock Guest Experience Host is a back-of-house anchor with a front-of-house flair. Your primary focus is driving logistics, receiving freight, keeping stockrooms organized, and maintaining a fully replenished sales floor. When store traffic surges or operational needs shift, you step onto the floor to deliver high-energy guest service, guide play, and support interactive guest experiences. Key Responsibilities Stock & Logistics (Primary Focus) Receive, count, and log inbound shipments into inventory management systems; track discrepancies and vendor shortages. Keep the sales floor fully stocked and organized to support high-volume merchandise pushes and floor resets. Conduct cycle counts, inventory audits, and support twice-yearly physical inventory prep. Maintain clean, organized Back-of-House (BOH) areas, including stockrooms, break rooms, and supply closets. Manage damage processing, and store supply inventory. Communicate stock levels and inventory needs directly to store leadership. Guest Experience & Floor Support (As Needed) Step onto the sales floor during peak times to welcome families, assist customers, and answer product questions. Lead or assist with interactive activities, toy demos, and crafts (e.g., slime-making) when coverage is required. Support character meet-and-greets as a mascot handler, managing lines and guest flow safely. Perform custom greetings and help maintain a magical, high-energy environment. Sales & Daily Operations (As Needed) Ring up purchases at the register and make personal product recommendations to support store sales goals. Assist with opening/closing store procedures, safety walk-throughs, and ongoing sanitization of play and retail zones.
Requirements & Qualifications Experience:
Background in retail stockroom management, inventory logistics, or customer service.
Tech Skills:
Experience with inventory tracking software and retail POS systems preferred.
Mindset:
Flexible, detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable engaging with children and families.
Eligibility:
Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the U.S. Physical Demands & Work Environment Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 45 lbs continuously for shifts up to 8 hours. Comfort climbing ladders and operating manual or electrical stock equipment safely. Exposure to theatrical lighting effects (LEDs, flashing lights) and occasional outdoor elements during receiving.
