Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and professional Host Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for greeting patrons, managing reservations, and handling cashier duties. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a welcoming demeanor, and experience in food service or hospitality environments. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements efficiently Handle reservations and waitlist management with professionalism and courtesy Take customer orders accurately and process payments using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area Assist with guest inquiries both in person and over the phone, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette Support servers and kitchen staff as needed to ensure seamless service delivery Provide exceptional guest services by addressing guest needs promptly and courteously Manage guest relations to foster a welcoming atmosphere and encourage repeat visits Requirements Prior host/host experience or food service background preferred Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest relations Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Professional appearance and friendly demeanor Hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous but not required Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed This role is integral to creating a positive dining experience for our guests.
