As the first point of contact, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that guests have an exceptional dining experience. Your responsibilities will include managing reservations, greeting guests, and maintaining the flow of service within the restaurant. Duties Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow. Assist guests with inquiries about the menu, restaurant services, and special events. Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area. Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and courtesy to enhance guest relations. Utilize POS systems to manage waitlists and track table availability. Skills Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest relations. Excellent communication abilities to interact effectively with guests and team members. Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus, aiding in efficient operations.
