The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere. This role is essential in ensuring that guests feel valued and attended to from the moment they arrive. The Greeter will work closely with the front-of-house staff to facilitate smooth operations and enhance the overall guest experience. Responsibilities Welcome guests warmly as they enter the establishment, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow. Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to guests. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the entrance area. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Utilize POS systems, including Aloha POS or Micros POS, for managing guest orders when necessary. Uphold high standards of hospitality and professionalism at all times. Requirements Previous experience as a host/host or in a similar customer service role is preferred. Background in food service or restaurant environments is advantageous. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and guest relations. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS or Micros POS, is a plus. Experience in hotel or guest services can enhance your candidacy. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism.
