Overview Rock Bar is looking for an energetic, outgoing, polished Hostess / Door Assistant with a strong guest-service personality. This is a high-energy, guest-facing position in a busy beach restaurant and nightlife environment. We are looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, well-groomed, professional in appearance, comfortable with large crowds, and able to stay positive and organized during busy shifts . Candidates must be flexible to work days, nights, weekends, and special events , with operating hours ranging from 10 AM to 4 AM . Responsibilities Welcome guests and manage check-in and seating. Manage reservations and waitlists. Answer guest questions in person and by phone. Maintain a professional and friendly guest experience. Coordinate with servers and management to keep seating flow organized. Use Toast POS and other systems as needed. Keep the host and entrance areas clean and organized. Door Assistant Responsibilities Greet guests at the entrance and direct them to the correct area. Apply and verify wristbands. Scan tickets, QR codes, and guest passes. Collect cover charges and process payments accurately. Maintain accurate guest counts. Collect and verify coupons, vouchers, and promotional passes. Help manage lines and keep the entrance moving. Redirect guests to the host stand, VIP, security, reservations, or other areas as needed. Stay alert and organized during high-volume periods. Communicate any issues immediately to management or security. Requirements Reliable and punctual. Professional appearance and strong personal grooming. Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable speaking with guests. Strong English required. Spanish preferred; Portuguese is a plus. Able to work in the United States. Flexible availability for lunch, nights, weekends, and special events. Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant and nightlife environment. Able to handle payments, guest counts, wristbands, scanners, and basic POS functions. Team player willing to move between Hostess and Door Assistant duties as needed. Uniform All-black uniform. Clean, neat, and professional presentation. Hair and overall appearance must be well-groomed during every shift.

Pay Hostess:

$15/hour + tips
