Job Overview:

We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host/Cashier. As a Host/Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to operate the Aloha POS system.

Duties:

• Greet guests as they arrive and seat them at their tables
• Provide menus and answer any questions about menu items
• Take food and beverage orders accurately
• Enter orders into the Aloha POS system
• Process payments using the POS system
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/cashier station
• Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for new guests
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
• Collaborate with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth operations

Skills:

• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
• Proficiency in operating the Aloha POS system or similar restaurant POS systems
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests, waitstaff, and kitchen staff
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of proper phone etiquette for taking reservations or handling guest inquiries
