About the Position We are seeking a friendly, professional, and organized Host to join our front-of-house team. The ideal candidate is personable, attentive, and able to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities Warmly greet and welcome every guest upon arrival. Manage the flow of guests entering the restaurant and ensure an organized and welcoming entrance. Accurately manage reservations, waitlists, and table assignments. Escort guests to their tables and provide menus. Communicate estimated wait times clearly and professionally. Maintain strong communication with Servers, Management, and the Kitchen. Monitor table availability and help ensure efficient seating throughout service. Answer guest questions and provide knowledgeable information about the restaurant. Assist with phone calls and reservation inquiries. Keep the host stand, entrance, and surrounding areas clean and organized. Assist the front-of-house team with additional support and side work as needed. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor throughout the shift. Qualifications Previous hosting or restaurant experience preferred. Warm, friendly, and professional personality. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to remain calm and courteous in a busy environment. Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is required.
