Duties Greet guests warmly with genuine enthusiasm, making them feel instantly at home Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions about the menu or specials Maintain clear communication with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and service Handle guest inquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette, providing accurate information and assistance Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host station and waiting area Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors Qualifications Prior experience as a host or hostess in food service or restaurant environments preferred Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and management Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Previous hotel or hospitality experience is advantageous but not required Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting Knowledge of guest services, serving etiquette, and restaurant operations is highly desirable Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering memorable experiences!
