Job Description

Door Personnel — Burn's Drugstore Speakeasy Burn's Drugstore Speakeasy , located inside Marmaduke's Lodge in Downtown Leesburg, is looking for friendly, attentive, and dependable Door Personnel to help create a great guest experience from the moment customers arrive. The Door position is an important part of the Burn's experience. You will be the first point of contact for guests, manage the flow of customers into the speakeasy, communicate wait times, and help keep the space clean and organized throughout the evening. ResponsibilitiesGuest Experience & Seating Greet every customer with a friendly, positive attitude. Ask guests how many people are in their party and whether they will also be dining during their visit. Lead guests into Burn's and show them where to sit. Provide guests with a lighted cocktail menu and, when applicable, a food menu. Monitor the room and communicate with guests when the space is at capacity. When the speakeasy is full, collect the guest's name and phone number . Explain that guests are welcome to wait at Marmaduke's Lodge while they wait for their table. Call and/or text guests when space becomes available or is about to become available. Communicate with servers to determine when current guests may be checking out so the next party can be notified that their table will soon be ready . Maintain a welcoming and professional presence throughout the evening. Maintaining the Speakeasy Regularly check the room for empty cocktail glasses and debris. Collect empty glasses and bring them to the appropriate service station. Wipe down tables, bar tops, and side tables as needed. Remove trash and debris and place it in the appropriate trash receptacles. Keep menus and lights organized and ready to be handed to incoming guests. Help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting atmosphere throughout the night. Closing Responsibilities At the end of the night, Door Personnel are expected to help ensure Burn's is completely clean and ready for the next service.
Closing duties include:
Make sure the entire space is clean and ready for the next day. Wipe down all tables and the bar. Organize and neatly stack menus and lights. Collect remaining cocktail glasses and bring them to the appropriate service station. Remove all trash and debris from the room. Hard sweep the entire floor and remove any debris. Vacuum the entire room using the floor vacuum. Wipe down the bar and stack chairs. Wipe down tables and side tables and stack them as needed. Assist with trash and other small closing tasks to help the team finish the night efficiently. Assist staff with any additional reasonable closing tasks needed before clocking out. What We're Looking For Friendly, outgoing personality with a strong customer-service mindset. Reliable and punctual. Comfortable communicating with guests and staff. Able to remain organized in a busy environment. Strong attention to cleanliness and detail. Able to stand and walk for extended periods. Willing to jump in and help the team when needed. Previous hospitality, restaurant, bar, or customer-service experience is a plus, but not required. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who understands that the guest experience starts at the door.
Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 18.0 - 23.0 per week
