Job Description
We are looking to add a Host/Hostess to our team. The Host is responsible for creating a welcoming and memorable first impression for guests visiting the resort's dining venues, lounges, and special events. This role greets guests, manages reservations and seating arrangements, and ensures a smooth flow of service while maintaining exceptional hospitality standards. The Host serves as a key point of contact for guests, providing information about resort amenities, dining options, and activities. Success in this position requires excellent communication skills, a friendly and professional demeanor, strong organizational abilities, and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences in a fast-paced beachfront resort environment. Greeting guests in a friendly and inviting manner Take reservations with the restaurant reservation system Engaging in friendly conversation as you seat guests in a timely fashion Managing restaurant waiting list during high volume to accurately set waiting time quotes for guests Manage inventory of tables available Always sincerely thanking guests as they leave and inviting them to return Other reasonable duties as assigned Communicate with wait staff and supervisors regarding availability of tables Communicate with supervisor any complaints or compliments Adhere to the rules and regulations of the company as defined in the employee handbook Always wear appropriate uniform provided by company policyQualifications:
High School Diploma/GED a plus but not required Previous experience a plus Must have courteous phone skills and the ability to take accurate messages The company also conducts post-offer employment verification's, motor vehicle, and criminal background checks.
