Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host/Host. As a Host/Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience. Your role will involve greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and assisting with various tasks to support the smooth operation of the restaurant.

Duties:

• Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome
• Seat guests and provide them with menus
• Assist in managing reservations and waiting lists
• Answer phone calls and take reservations and orders over the phone
• Package food orders
• manage cash register
• Maintain knowledge of the menu, specials, and promotions
• Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure efficient service
• Monitor dining areas to ensure cleanliness and organization
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner
• Assist with setting up tables and maintaining a clean work environment

Requirements:

• Previous experience in customer service or food service is preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to provide exceptional guest relations
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with POS systems (e.g., Aloha POS) is a plus
• Professional appearance and demeanor
