Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing exceptional guest services that set the tone for their experience Manage restaurant reservations and waitlists using restaurant table management systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table utilization and minimize wait times Handle customer transactions accurately at the cashier station, processing payments via POS systems with attention to detail Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hostess stand and cashier area to ensure a professional appearance Communicate effectively with team members regarding guest needs, reservation updates, and special requests Answer phone inquiries with proper phone etiquette, providing information about wait times, reservations, or general inquiries Uphold food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations during all guest interactions Experience Previous experience as a host or hostess in a fast-paced restaurant or sports bar environment is highly preferred Experience handling cash transactions and operating POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is essential Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person and over the phone Familiarity with restaurant reservation management and table management systems Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices is a plus Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering memorable guest experiences!
