Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and present menus confidently, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery. Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation. Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience through excellent customer service. Assist with food handling, sanitation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed. Use reservation systems like OpenTable to manage seating arrangements and optimize guest flow. Requirements Previous restaurant experience with a strong background in food service, hospitality, or related fields. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus. We use Toast. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest rapport and handle diverse situations professionally. Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, billing, and order calculations accurately. Knowledge of food industry practices including sanitation, food handling, and restaurant operations.
