Duties Greet guests promptly with a friendly attitude, providing a positive first impression Manage restaurant reservation systems and seating charts efficiently using systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS Coordinate with the kitchen and serving staff to ensure timely seating and guest flow Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information about wait times, reservations, or general inquiries Maintain organized waitlists and reservation logs while updating guest status regularly Assist guests with seating arrangements, special requests, and accommodating large parties Uphold food safety standards and ensure cleanliness in the host station area to promote a safe environment Communicate effectively with team members to support smooth restaurant operations and guest satisfaction Experience Previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries courteously and efficiently Familiarity with restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Experience in food service or hospitality roles that involve guest relations is advantageous Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and organizational abilities Basic math skills for managing reservations, waitlists, and billing procedures Knowledge of food safety standards and restaurant operations is a plus Experience with hotel or serving environments can enhance your ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences Join us in creating welcoming atmospheres where every guest feels appreciated!
