Full Job Description Core Duties and Responsibilities Greeting Guests:

Welcome every person warmly and promptly as they walk through the door.

Managing Seating:

Assign tables fairly, balance server sections, and estimate accurate wait times.

Handling Reservations:

Take bookings via phone or online systems and manage the daily guest list.

Team Support:

Answer customer phone calls, hand out clean menus, and help servers during busy rushes.

Maintaining Appearance:

Keep the host stand, lobby, and menus clean and organized

Essential Skills Communication:

Speak clearly and politely with guests and staff.

Organization:

Keep track of large groups, special requests, and table rotations.

Composure:

Stay calm, friendly, and focused during stressful dinner rushes.

Teamwork:

Work closely with kitchen staff and servers to keep service smooth.

Basic Tech and Math:

Use digital reservation tools and point-of-sale (POS) cash systems.

Physical Demands Standing:

Stand and walk around the dining area for long shifts.

Alertness:

Stay attentive at the front entrance during all operating hours

Wage:

$14 to $18 Full time / Part time We are looking for local people near the Sanford area, if you are willing to travel long distance to works also.

Pay:

$14.00 - $18.00 per hour
