host/hostess. As a host you are expected to demonstrate genuine hospitality by welcoming guests into our establishment with a smile, setting the stage for an exceptional dining experience! You will be expected to be organized and friendly Putting our customers at ease during a wait • Engaging in friendly conversation as you seat guests in a timely fashion Introducing guests to their server Managing restaurant waiting list during high volume to accurately set guest expectations Always sincerely thanking guests as they leave and inviting them to return Cleaning and sanitizing customer touch points in the restaurant • Answering phones, and directing the calls in a prompt and professional manner. Responsibilities Welcome guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression Manage restaurant reservation systems and seating charts to optimize table turnover and guest flow Answer incoming phone calls with courtesy, providing information about wait times, reservations, and general inquiries Coordinate with the dining staff to ensure timely seating and efficient table management using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station and waiting area Assist with guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously Support food safety standards by adhering to hygiene protocols during guest interactions Join us to deliver outstanding hospitality experiences where every guest feels valued!
