• Overview:

• We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Host to join our hospitality team at [Hotel Name]. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be responsible for ensuring a warm welcome and exceptional dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for providing top-notch customer service.

• Responsibilities:

• Greet guests in a professional and courteous manner upon arrival and departure
• Manage the reservation book and take reservations by phone or in person
• Operate the Aloha POS system with ease and accuracy
• Assist with seating guests and ensuring a smooth dining experience
• Provide exceptional guest services, including answering questions and addressing concerns
• Help with food service, including taking orders and serving guests
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery
• Manage the flow of guests and staff in the dining area
• Provide excellent phone etiquette and handle phone calls with professionalism
• Work collaboratively with other members of the hospitality team to ensure a seamless dining experience

• Qualifications:

• Prior experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a hotel setting
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff
• Basic knowledge of food service and hospitality practices
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends

• Skills:

• Proficiency with Aloha POS
• Experience in a hotel setting
