Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage their seating preferences to optimize flow and comfort Handle restaurant reservation management efficiently using popular table management systems such Toast POS Maintain organized waitlists and communicate wait times clearly via phone and in person Answer incoming phone calls with professional phone etiquette, providing information about reservations and wait times Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and guest flow Assist with guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a positive experience Uphold food safety standards by managing cleanliness of the host station and adhering to hygiene protocols Skills Proven experience as a host/hostess or in food service roles, demonstrating excellent customer service skills Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to handle phone communication confidently Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems and POS systems such as Toast POS Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tables, reservations, and guest requests efficiently Basic math skills for managing waitlists, bills, and transaction processing Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices to ensure guest well-being Ability to remain energetic, positive, and professional in a fast-paced environment while building guest relations Join us in creating memorable dining experiences by providing top-tier guest services with enthusiasm and professionalism.
