In this front-of-house role, you will greet and seat guests, manage the waitlist and call a heads, and keep the flow of the dining room running smoothly. You will work closely with servers, managers, and the rest of the team to deliver warm, efficient hospitality throughout lunch service. What You'll Do
  • Welcome guests promptly with a friendly, professional greeting.
  • Manage call a heads, walk-ins, and the waitlist accurately and fairly.
  • Seat guests according to server rotation, table availability, and guest needs.
  • Provide accurate wait-time estimates and keep waiting guests informed.
  • Communicate clearly with servers, managers, and the kitchen about seating flow and special requests.
  • Keep the host stand, entrance, menus, and waiting area clean, organized, and well stocked.
  • Assist with menus, table resets, and other front-of-house needs during service.
  • Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return. What We're Looking For
  • Friendly, dependable, and comfortable engaging with guests.
  • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to remain calm, courteous, and accurate during busy lunch service.
  • Good judgment when managing seating priorities, wait times, and guest requests.
  • Ability to learn the restaurant layout, table numbers, call a head process, and menu basics.
  • Host, customer-service, or restaurant experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person. Schedule & Physical Requirements
  • Lunch-shift availability is required, including weekdays and weekends as scheduled.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a busy restaurant environment.
  • Ability to work around noise, food, and cleaning products while following safety procedures.
