In this hands-on role, you will coordinate finished orders at the kitchen pass, confirm every plate matches the ticket, and deliver hot, well-presented food to the correct guests. You will work closely with both the kitchen and front-of-house teams to create a smooth dining experience. What You'll Do
- Organize completed orders at the expo station and match every item to the correct ticket.
- Check portions, presentation, temperature, modifiers, and allergy notes before food leaves the kitchen.
- Coordinate timing so each table's order is delivered together whenever possible.
- Run food quickly and accurately to the correct table and seat, naming dishes when appropriate.
- Communicate clearly with cooks, servers, and managers about order status, delays, or corrections.
- Make sure guests have the proper plates, utensils, napkins, sauces, and condiments.
- Keep the expo station, service areas, and dining room support areas clean, organized, stocked, and compliant with food-safety standards.
- Assist with clearing tables, resetting, side work, and other team needs during service. What We're Looking For
- Friendly, dependable, and ready to support the team.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear communication skills and a guest-first attitude.
- Ability to learn the menu, table numbers, seat positions, ingredients, and allergy procedures.
- Restaurant experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person.
- Food-handler certification, if required locally, or willingness to obtain it. Schedule & Physical Requirements
- Lunch-shift availability is required, including weekdays and weekends as scheduled.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a busy restaurant environment.
- Ability to work around heat, noise, food, and cleaning products while following safety procedures.
