As the first point of contact for our guests, Hosts help create a welcoming experience while keeping seating and front-of-house operations organized and running smoothly. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner Manage reservations, waitlists, seating, and walk-in guests Answer phone calls and assist with guest questions and reservations Coordinate seating to support efficient dining room flow Communicate with managers, servers, and support staff throughout service Monitor wait times and provide guests with accurate updates Maintain a clean and organized host stand and entrance area Support front-of-house operations as needed Qualifications Previous customer service or restaurant experience preferred but not required Friendly, professional, and positive attitude Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment Reliable attendance and punctuality Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Whether you're looking to gain restaurant experience or continue building a career in hospitality, Doraku offers opportunities to learn and grow as part of our team.
