Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and friendly Host/Hostess For our morning and evening Restaurant to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensure smooth seating operations. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, managing reservations, greeting guests, and coordinating seating arrangements. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will help foster a positive dining experience from the moment guests arrive until they leave. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly with a positive attitude and assist with seating arrangements to optimize table utilization Manage restaurant reservation systems and walk-in guest flow efficiently using restaurant table management software such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Answer incoming phone calls with professional phone etiquette, providing information about wait times, reservations, and general inquiries Maintain organized waiting lists and communicate wait times clearly to guests Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely seating and guest satisfaction Uphold food safety standards by following proper guest interaction protocols and cleanliness procedures Support guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly Place Take out Orders Qualifications Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage reservations and seating efficiently Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly, approachable demeanor Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems and POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Basic math skills for handling reservations, wait times, and table counts accurately Knowledge of hospitality principles, guest services, and customer relations best practices Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods in a busy environment Experience with food safety standards and hotel or restaurant experience is a plus Join our team as a Host/Hostess and become an integral part of creating memorable dining experiences!
