Full Job Description Duties:

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
• Proficiently use I-Pad to seat guest and ensure use of dining space is properly upheld.
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
• Answering phone calls to take reservations, provide information about the restaurant, as well as ringing in take out orders.
• Packing to go orders and checking out guests
• Manage the waitlist and notify guests when their table is ready
• Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly
• Provide excellent customer service and create a positive dining experience for guests
• Ability to perform opening and closing duties.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Reliable transportation
• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems and phone etiquette
• Knowledge of Toast POS system is a plus
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
