Part-Time or Fulltime | Evening & Weekend Availability Required About Us The Boise Post is a rooftop restaurant and bar located inside the AC Hotel & Element Hotel in Downtown Boise. We are focused on providing an elevated dining experience through exceptional service, great food, and a welcoming atmosphere. We are looking for an energetic and dependable Host/Expo who enjoys working in a fast-paced restaurant environment and is excited to be part of our growing team. Position Summary As a Host/Expo, you will play an important role in both the front-of-house guest experience and the flow of our restaurant. This position will assist with hosting and expo duties based on the needs of the restaurant. You may be welcoming and seating guests during one part of your shift and helping coordinate and run food during another. We are looking for someone who is flexible, organized, and willing to jump in wherever needed. Key Responsibilities Greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating Escort guests to tables while maintaining proper seating rotation Communicate accurate wait times and assist with guest questions Answer phones and assist with reservations Maintain a clean and organized host stand and entrance area Assist at the expo line to ensure food is accurate and presented properly before leaving the kitchen Coordinate food orders and help ensure dishes are delivered to the correct tables Run food to guests quickly and professionally Communicate with servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and management Help keep the expo area clean, stocked, and organized Assist with additional front-of-house duties as needed Help maintain a smooth flow of service during busy periods Qualifications Previous restaurant, hosting, expo, or customer service experience preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Dependable and willing to help wherever needed Positive attitude and team-oriented mentality Comfortable working closely with both front-of-house and kitchen teams Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays What We Offer Competitive hourly pay Flexible part-time scheduling
