Bardenay will pay for you to get ServSafe Food Handlers certified! As the Expo/Runner/Host, the purpose is to help expedite and deliver orders from the kitchen and the bar. You may sometimes be asked to greet customers at the door and assign guests to tables. General Responsibilities
  • Expo Communicate orders and information between the front and back of the house Make sure the food is cooked in the right order and quickly Ensure the food is presented to the customer as beautifully as possible General Responsibilities
  • Runner Deliver food and drinks to customers in a timely manner Check orders for accuracy Take additional orders when required Helps expedite orders General Responsibilities
  • Host Greet customers at the door Seat guests and communicate who their server will be Provide menus to guests and clean them afterward Acknowledge guests upon their exit
Requirements:
Job Qualifications Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
Previous expediting experience preferred Excellent oral communication skills are required. Positive interpersonal skills are required. Must speak English fluently and be able to write in basic English.
License/Qualifications:
ServSafe food handlers certification (or equivalent)
ADA Information Physical Requirements:
Ability to speak and hear. Close and distance vision. Frequent sitting with some standing at times. Occasionally lifts/carries up to 50 lbs. Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills. Able to reach hands and arms in any direction and kneel and stoop repeatedly.
