Job Description
Host (Full-Time / Part-Time) Epiphany Farms Hospitality Group | Central Illinois -- ABOUT US Epiphany Farms Hospitality Group (EFHG) is a farm-driven hospitality group rooted in Central Illinois. Across our restaurants and working farm, we are committed to thoughtful hospitality, seasonal food, and creating memorable experiences for our guests. Our restaurant concepts include Epiphany Farms Restaurant, Anju Above, Harmony Korean BBQ, and Bakery & Pickle — each offering a different style of food, service, and guest experience. THE ROLE
We are looking for friendly, organized, and dependable Hosts to join our front-of-house teams. As the first and last point of contact for many of our guests, hosts play an important role in setting the tone for the dining experience. Beyond greeting and seating guests, this position helps manage reservations, coordinate dining room flow, and communicate with the service team throughout each shift. Host opportunities may be available across our restaurant concepts. Placement will be based on current business needs while also considering each candidate's experience, strengths, interests, availability, and preferred restaurant environment.WHAT YOU'LL DO
Welcome and greet guests warmly and professionally Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating throughout service Help coordinate dining room flow with servers and managers Answer phone calls and assist with reservations and guest questions Communicate wait times and reservation information clearly and professionally Assist with takeout orders and other front-of-house needs as needed Monitor retail inventory and communicate restocking needs Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming entrance, host stand, and guest-facing areas Communicate effectively with service, kitchen, and management teams Learn basic menu, restaurant, and event information to confidently assist guests Follow company standards along with food safety and sanitation requirementsWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Warm, professional, and comfortable interacting with guests Strong communication and organizational skills Dependable and team-oriented Able to stay composed and organized during busy service periods Attention to detail and awareness of what is happening in the dining room Restaurant or customer service experience preferred, but not required Availability for evenings, weekends, and dining holidaysCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS
