Responsibilities Greet guests with enthusiasm and professionalism, making them feel valued from the moment they arrive Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Toast POS Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest comfort Answer phone inquiries with courteous phone etiquette, providing accurate information about wait times and reservations Maintain organized guest lists and waitlists, updating status regularly to ensure smooth flow of service Assist with guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously Support food service staff by facilitating communication between guests and servers, ensuring seamless service delivery Requirements Prior experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant or food service environment preferred Strong knowledge of restaurant reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Excellent customer service and communication skills to engage with diverse guests effectively Ability to handle phone communication professionally, demonstrating proper phone etiquette Basic math skills for managing reservations, waitlists, and seating calculations Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting Familiarity with food safety standards and hospitality best practices is a plus Experience with hotel or guest services environments is advantageous but not required Join us if you're passionate about creating welcoming atmospheres and delivering outstanding guest experiences!
