Job Description

Job Overview We're looking for an energetic host/hostess to join our evening shift (4pm-9pm). This is an exciting opportunity to be the first friendly face our guests see and work alongside our incredible staff and community. You'll keep our dining room flowing smoothly by keeping menus pristine, and partnering with management, servers and bussers with great communication and responsiveness in a fun, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Maintain an organized waitlist and seating chart to optimize table turnover and guest flow. Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing accurate information about wait times, and restaurant hours while practicing excellent phone etiquette. Coordinate with the serving staff to assign tables promptly and accommodate special requests or needs. Assist with guest inquiries, provide directions within the restaurant, and address any concerns courteously to enhance guest relations. Keep the host/hostess station tidy and well-stocked, ensuring smooth operations during busy hours. Skills Proven experience as a host or hostess in a busy restaurant environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and professional demeanor. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Solid organizational skills to manage seating arrangements and waitlists effectively. Managing wait times, and guest counts accurately. Knowledge of hospitality best practices to ensure guest safety and satisfaction. This is a part time (16-20 hours per week) paid position that offers growth opportunities within a supportive team dedicated to excellence in hospitality.

$18.00 per hour Expected hours: 16.0 - 20.0 per week
