Job Summary The role of the Host is to provide guests a warm welcome and a fond farewell upon departure. Manage the day-to-day reservations, walk-ins in Open Table and are ambassadors for Le Colonial. Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to : Report to work in proper uniform, abiding by the uniform guidelines Greet guests in a warm, friendly and sincere manner Keep track of walk-in and reservation guests through Open Table. Must have solid knowledge on how to use Open Table and phone systems Update guest notes, profiles and preferences Maintain and manage wait-list Greet and seat guests Observe tables and keep track of clean, dirty and occupied tables Inspect menus for cleanliness and crispness and change out when necessary Answer phone with knowledge of the operations of the restaurant and/or direct guests for further assistance Cleaning, organizing and stocking menus at host area Answer phone within three rings Other duties as directed

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in customer service Excellent phone skills and communication skills Must be a team player High school diploma or GED equivalent required

Physical Demands :

This position is very active and requires standing for long periods of time. The position may require occasional lifting of products weighing up to 20 pounds.

This position regularly requires long hours and a schedule that fluctuates based on business needs.
